Enkamat is a matting designed to protect the root structure of grass. It is a three dimensional random polyamide matting which, when buried prevents root damage from rapid water flows.

Bulky in size, the matting consists of nylon threads fused together at the points at which they cross each other. The resulting web is very open in its formation, leaving much of its volume to be filled with soil/gravel or other appropriate materials.
