Various Australian native grasses are suitable for re-vegetation works.

They are best established through the planting of a single virocell or viro tube.

Suitability

Native grasses are commonly hardy species allowing suitability to a range of conditions. They are often planted in low maintenance areas such as traffic islands, garden beds, road verges and waterways.

Maintenance / Establishment

Establishment is best achieved by thorough site preparation. The removal of competitive weeds and the development of a soil bed is the greatest assistance of grass establishment. Mulching will also provide protection to the cells and assist establishment.

Native grasses require thorough establishment but require little or no maintenance thereafter just basic watering and pest control.
